Joel Bergvall is a Swedish-American filmmaker, media executive, and narrative strategist. He has spent three decades working at the intersection of story, culture, and venture, figuring out why some ideas travel and others don't.

He serves as Head of Film and Television at Down Home, the Skydance-backed media company founded by Tim McGraw and Shareability, where he is also a Partner. His earlier work includes an Academy Award nomination, and a feature film remade by Disney, starting the modern wave of American remakes of Swedish films.
